The final section of this f ramework focuses on the
actions needed to strengthen discipleship in our
schools.
Implementation
As we focus more on discipleship, we know that
we are not starting f rom scratch. There are many
ways in which our schools support discipleship,
even as we recognize the need to do more to help
our students reach maturity in their faith. It will be
important, therefore, to reflect on this f ramework
as a school and formulate a plan for finding ways
of strengthening the approach to discipleship over
the next three to five years.
A school's plan should use this f ramework as a
guide. The group does not need to discover the
nature of discipleship. Rather, the focus is on how
the vision laid out in this document can come to
life within the school's culture and life. To begin, all
