Originally launched by the Archdio- cese of Dubuque, Iowa the deacons assigned to the Archdiocese of Denver's Apostolate of Evangelization and Family Life are in the beginning stages of establishing this ministry in our Archdiocese. The goal is to provide spiritual support, pastoral care and infor- mation. Trained volunteers who have expe- rienced such losses are available to those who request assistance to address a wide range of spiritual and practical needs such as help making funeral arrangements, prayer, organizing a meal train or providing ideas to honor or remember their child. In addition, the deacons in this ministry coordinate a spe- cial annual memorial mass at host parishes to honor these children and their families. i Deacon Dave Simonton deacondavids@stthomasmore.org 720.542.8232 Deacon Spencer Thornber dcnspencer@sfcparish.org 303.979.7688
