As Catholics, we are called to share our blessings
with others and to tithe. A tithe is a donation of 10%
of one's annual earnings in support of the Church
or other charitable causes. One formula suggests
donating 5% of our annual income to our parish,
3% to other charities, and 2% to the archdiocese
through a gift to the Archbishop's Catholic Appeal.
